Let him learn to Understand you

Let him know when you are sad even when all he can see is your smile

Let him learn to see the confidence in the stride of your hips

Let him grow to unfold what lead to such a broken woman

Let him come the extra mile for all you’ve ever known never came to you

Let him come to you; so, you will know that you’re worth the wait

Let him do all of what you think ain’t for you

Let him buy you those roses; for just the moment to be yours

Let him hold your hand; so that you can know that touch was never meant to hurt

Let him court you, that every steps breaks that great wall

Let him come to you and above all stay put. Know how it feels to be won over

Let him see you, for your standards were never for an invisible woman

Let him appreciate what you’ve achieved and fought to become. Just let him.

Let him utter your name like no one else does

Let him carry you; just so, you could see that none of what carried will ever be as heavy again

Let him make you laugh, just so you could hear that different tune for just this once

Let him wonder about you, for you to know that space and time are not the only infinite entities.

Let him call you beautiful; Just so, you can finally love those flaws

Let him, dear, for its healing you. Not to make him God, but to make him a partner

And that is all you ever simply needed.
